Founder, Owner
Born and raised in the Roussillon, South of France on the border with Spain. Graduated with a Master in Business and specialized in wine sales and marketing since 1998. Successful 10 years as a US National Portfolio Manager for Palm Bay International before moving to the Roussillon, France to create Traditions & Innovations.
Roles: CEO, selection of the wines, contact with the wineries, sales force management, business development.
Ann-Sofie Ey
Vice President
Business Development
Born and raised in Goteborg, Sweden. Graduated with a Master in International Logistics and Administration. Successful 10 years in the USA as a senior executive in the luxury world of VERTU.
Roles: Business Development, Director of retail.
Axel Martin
T&I NY
Sales Representative
Born and raised in the city of Bordeaux, France.
With diplomas from the university of Cognac and at the Bordeaux wine institute of INSEEC.
Axel worked as sommelier in various countries as far as Australia and in retail in the W&S department of a premium French supermarket in France. He joined T&I in 2016 working first at the headquarters in South France.
Axel is now in charge of of developing sales in Manhattan and Brooklyn.
Matthias Michelin
T&I NY
Sales Manager
Born and raised in Toulouse, South of France. Graduated with a MBA Wine and Marketing in Bordeaux. Not only by name, Matthias is also a walking michelin-star in T&I, in charge of our number one market: New-York, USA.
Matthias has now moved to new adventures, we wish him and his family farewell and we thank him for many years of hard work and for getting T&I NY off the ground.
Gina Grilli
T&I NY
Sales Representative
Born and raised in Cleveland- Ohio, Gina grew up in her parents' restaurant business and discovered her passion for the world of wine very early on.
After a successful career in sales management in the fashion business for prestigious brands as Calvin Klein and Bebe.
She is joining T&I NY in 2018 to service our retail and restaurant accounts.

Line Lyngby
Communication Manager
Born and raised in Copenhagen, Denmark After studies in Lyon & Paris and a Master in Communication, she came to the South of France headquarters to develop the communication strategy and tell the world about T&I.
Line played a key role in getting this website created.
Pedro Gómez
Web Designer
Born and raised in Cordoba, Spain. Masters Degree in Multimedia Journalism and New Media and Degree in Advertising and Public Relations.
Working at distance from London. He created the websites for the T&I activities.
WHO WE ARE
Launched in 2010 by Jean-François Ey.
Jean-François Ey had been working for a major wine importer in the USA as French Wine Portfolio Manager. He visited hundreds of restaurateurs and fine wine retailers who have welcomed him in their world and shared their passion.
It became obvious to him that more than ever they wanted to offer their customers wines with personality and a story.
But to be able to tell that story the retailers and restauranteurs need to be informed by educated sales people.
Jean-François Ey’s goal was then to establish a company that would source these unique wines and would have an educated sales force with a personal understanding of each wine and the winemakers who made them.
He established a rigorous selection process in order to choose wines that sometimes show Tradition, sometimes Innovation…hence the company name.
Using his experience in all segments of French and Spanish wines, he wants to offer our customers the experience of discovering ecologically conscious, independent, family owned wineries.
Being based in the Roussillon, between France and Spain, Traditions & Innovations is closer to the source. In each region it stays in the forefront with hand selected wineries and continuously follow the evolutions.
