Jean-Pierre Vacher

Jérome and Karine Vacher are working alongside Jean-Pierre to develop their wine estate with energy and passion. When most of the grapes were before brought to a cooperative, Jerome is now focusing on making wine and developing little by little in order to bottle is entire production.

Their wines are pure expression of Sancerre, which is a French wine Appellation ‘d'origine controlee’. They always aim to combine raciness, elegance, intense aromas and liveliness.

The 18 hectares estate is located on the best spots of Sancerre in the town of Menetou Ratel. Their 25 years old vines are planted on a clay and limestone soil with the ideal exposure to the sun facing south.

Karine, Jérome and Jean-Pierre Vacher are both caring and hardworking, always focusing on influencing their wine process with their unique style of traditional work and wine producing.
