Combe au Loup

The Domaine ‘Combe au Loup’, is hidden in the northern part of the charming Beaujolais region. The Méziat family have been working generation after generation from father to son since 1870.
Today, husband and wife, Nathalie and David Méziat are working hand in hand under the watchful eyes of their young daughters to take care of their vineyards and make authentic wines with intense aromas.

Their wine estate ‘Combe au Loup’ is certified by “Terra Vitis”.
Indeed, the northern crus of Beaujolais are a very hilly landscape with a fair amount of humidity, making it hard for organic growing. Therefore Nathalie and David have chosen a very controlled way to protect their vineyards. They always make sure that chemical treatments is only used as a last resort when there are no alternatives to protect the production. This guarantees a high level of control for no residues in the soils and of course, nothing at all in the wines and yet very reasonable prices.
